Hugo Boss has appointed the former Tommy Hilfiger boss Daniel Grieder as its new chief executive.
Grieder has served as the chief executive of Tommy Hilfiger Europe since 2008, before being promoted to the chief executive of Tommy Hilfiger Global and PVH Europe in 2014.
He is due to join office on June 1, 2021, replacing Mark Langer, who is stepping down on September 30.

Langer had served as the chief executive of Hugo Boss since May 2016.
Meanwhile, finance chief Yves Mueller will serve as the management board’s spokesman in the interim period.
“Daniel Grieder was our top choice for the position of chief executive at Hugo Boss,” Hugo Boss Supervisory board chairman Hermann Waldemer said.
“His international expertise, charismatic personality and extensive global experience in brand management, product, distribution, marketing, and digitisation make him the ideal candidate.
“He possesses all the qualities required to steer Hugo Boss back to sales and profit growth, and to increase the desirability of our brands for end-consumers.”
