Pets at Home has entered a consultation process over several positions within its support team amid a reshaping of the business to further allign its growth stratgy.
The pet specialist is currently consulting with several employees about proposed reductions to its support team.
The changes will affect fewer than 100 positions, and those impacted have been notified that their roles are under review.

It is understood that the retailer will move some staff into different roles or departments, although some are likely to be made redundant as a result of the changes.
A Pets at Home spokesperson told Retail Week: “Over the past few years, our business has grown and we have made significant strategic investments in our infrastructure and technology to support that expansion.
“During this time, our support office has increased substantially, and we recently entered a period of consultation with a small number of colleagues on proposals to reshape for the future and align behind our growth strategy.”
It added it “will ensure that any further updates are communicated with colleagues first”.
