Superdry extends Australian licensing deal

Superdry has extended its licensing partnership with Brand Collective in Australia.

The fashion brand has signed a 12-year extension, with a multi-million-dollar royalty value to give its partner exclusive rights to the label in the region.

Superdry said the deal paves the way for “an exciting era of growth” as the pair aim to double revenues to £50m (AUD 100m) in the next five years.

It added that the two companies will “shape the future of fashion in Australia, bringing new collections, bold designs, and an ever-evolving retail experience that speaks directly to the Australian consumer’s passion for style and quality”.



Superdry sits alongside Reebok, Clarks and Hush Puppies in Brand Collective’s portfolio.

Chief executive Julian Dunkerton said: “We have been working with Brand Collective for many years, and this extension illustrates the value we place on the trust, longevity and continuity of our relationship.

“Our ongoing partnership will continue to grow and strengthen the brand across Australia.”

Brand Collective CEO Dave Thomas added: “It’s great to see that Australians have embraced Superdry – we’re thrilled to continue this partnership, creating a positive future for the brand in our market.”
