M&S delivers week-long live shopping event for Christmas

M&S has launched a week-long live shopping event across its Facebook and Instagram accounts, in a bid to make the Christmas season “stress-free”. 

The stream event, which began on Monday (1 December) and runs for five days, gives shoppers a “front-row seat to the very best of Christmas at M&S,” according to the retailer.

The business, which unveiled its “product first” Christmas campaign in October, is working with “some of the UK’s most-loved influencers” to deliver tips, trend-led ideas, and insider inspiration across fashion, beauty, gifting, and hosting as part of the event.

The company said that participants in the event would be able to browse curated edits and shop their full gifting list without stepping outside.



Offerings are set to vary from “star-power party looks” to “dream-worthy tablescapes and ‘how did you know?!’ gifts, M&S said. 

Consumers are able to watch the event live on the M&S Facebook and Instagram pages, with the stream will appear in participants’ feeds.

M&S marketing director Sharry Cramond said: “M&S fans are obsessed, and our social channels are buzzing as customers turn to our experts and ambassadors for this season’s must-have buys. 

“Broadcast live from our in-house studios, out Live Shopping Style Stream is packed with festive inspiration, gifting ideas and expert styling tips  – the ultimate Christmas fix. 

“Expect exclusive gift card giveaways and discover every holiday essential, just a click away.”
