Shopping centre Westfield London is set to launch its first fashion prime-time TV advertisement later this month as part of its multi-million pound Autumn/Winter campaign, it has been announced today.

Premiering on September 17th 2012, the 30-second ad will run over three weeks and hopes to attract high fashion customers through primetime slots of ITV and Channel 4.

Launching during London Fashion Week, the ad forms part of the ‘We Are Fashion‘ campaign, which also includes print and outdoor media coverage and feature a visual ‘fashion kaleidoscope‘ using illusions alongside established models.

As part of the campaign, the Shepherd‘s Bush centre will also collaborate with Vogue as the first shopping centre to take part in ‘Fashion‘s Night out‘ tomorrow, which will feature a fashion show featuring UK models including Lizzy Jagger and Yasmin and Amber Le Bon.

In July, Westfield London announced the opening of five new store ahead of the Olympic Games, including the UK debut store of New York retailer Kate Spade, which unveiled a 1,130 sq ft unit in early August.

Myf Ryan, General Marketing Manager UK, said: “We are excited to deliver another season of firsts – from the first fashion TVC for Westfield London through to being the first shopping centre in the UK to support Vogue‘s Fashion Night Out.

“With over 700 fashion brands, and the only shopping centre to house 40 luxury retailers at The Village, Westfield London is the destination for retailers, shoppers and tourists.”
