Aurora Fashions has promoted its Group Multichannel Director Hash Ladha to the newly created role of Deputy Managing Director for its clothing brand Oasis.

Ladha, who will assume the role in the new year, was instrumental in the launch of the business‘s much-acclaimed 90-minute delivery service, which has raised the bar in terms of the retail industry‘s multichannel offer.

Since joining from e-tail fashion house Asos.com in 2010 she has also established Aurora‘s international local language websites, as well as overseeing the roll-out of its decentralised stock management system Anywhere Everywhere.

Following Ladha‘s new appointment, current Group Strategic Development Director at Aurora Ish Patel will become Group Omni-channel Director and will take on responsibility for IT, distribution, business development and the multichannel technical teams, which the company believes have been pivotal to its many technical achievements this year.

Mike Shearwood, CEO of Aurora, which also owns women‘s fashion retailers Warehouse and Coast, commented: “The fact that we‘re able to attract and retain the best talent in the industry is testament to the scale and breadth of the Aurora Group.

“We‘re committed to investing in the right people, for the right senior management roles to ensure each brand is led by a strong, autonomous team that is as passionate.”

Last week, the business also announced the appointment of former French Connection digital boss Jennifer Roebuck, who will become Marketing Director of Warehouse in February 2012.

Meanwhile, long-serving Monsoon Accessorize design professional Kim Elliott is set to join Coast as Design Director in March.
