Spitalfields has launched its first major advertising campaign using local models to attract people to shop east.

Models Fabian Nordstrom and Delina, both of whom live locally to Spitalfields, will head up the launch which follows the unveiling of the new Saturday Style Market that showcases the work of independent designers.

Jason Dervin, Spitalfields Estate General Manager said: “Spitalfields is proud of its reputation for supporting new talent and fresh ideas. The quality, creativity and skill of the independent designers we have is outstanding.

“We have strong and dedicated support in the City and east London but now we want to show West End shoppers and tourists that there is an alternative that‘s both more ethical and more stylish.”

The seven-days-a-week destination offers a mix of shops, markets, restaurants and events in an award-winning public space.

The campaign will run until December at six main underground stations and further plans include a shopping event and fashion show.
