Online, catalogue and stores retailer, N Brown Group has appointed Guy Price as Property Acquisitions Manager to help with its store expansion programme for its Simply Be and Jacamo brands.
Simply Be and Jacamo currently have nine outlets across the country including recent store launches at White Rose Shopping Centre in Leeds and Westfield Shopping centre in Derby. Guy Price, who previously worked for Cushman and Wakefield and Asda will manage growth plans that will see between 15 and 20 new stores openings.
Briant Champion Long, the commercial retail agents, have been retained to look for new retail spaces in national high streets, shopping centres and fashion park locations throughout the UK.
Guy Price commented: “We‘re looking for locations which will be suitable to house our brands, Jacamo and Simply Be, and complement our established and thriving internet and catalogue businesses. Demand from our customers for stores is high and having a retail presence helps to support the wider business.”
Rupert Long, Equity Partner at Briant Champion Long, added: “We believe the dual branding of Simply Be and Jacamo stores will be of particular interest to landlords as it will drive male and female footfall. We are looking for stores of around 6,000 sq ft in strong retail locations to push our business forward.”
