Lipsy aiming for premium market with new store template

Women‘s fashion brand Lipsy has opened its new store at Watford‘s Intu shopping mall which heralds a new focus towards the premium market.

The 1,300 sq ft store, which features marble and gold decorations, opened on 6 December and adds to its 50 UK stores and 20 franchise stores across the Middle-East, USA and South Africa.

It said it wanted to create a new store environment that reflected a more modern Lipsy brand personality.

Lipsy, which was acquired by Next in 2008, appointed design agency Dalziel and Pow to design the new stores.

It says the new store will be the template for future store openings.
