London-based online menswear retailer The Idle Man has secured an investment of £1.4 million.

Despite its youth the ecommerce retailer has succeeded in growing their site and has attracted interest from Foresight Group who are leading the investment, along with individual investors like Peter Mullen, the founder of Thomas Pink.

Former ASOS executive Oliver Tezcan founded the company in 2014. He has said the company has grown 150 per cent in the last two years.

“Men are more interested than ever in fashion. The growth potential is huge for whoever can create a retail experience that meets their needs,” he said.

“That has never really been done before but the mission of The Idle Man is to change that.”

The investment will be used to build the company‘s own-brand clothing line, pushing their marketing sectors and growing its small team of staff.
