Premium Australian skin care brand Jurlique will open its first UK shop on London‘s Oxford St in early November.

Jurlique has taken the two-storey, 143 sq m of space in the Park House building on the western half of Oxford St, which will house both the brand‘s retail store and European head office.

In statement circulated today, Jurlique said it selected the last remaining unit at Park House for its new flagship because of its prominent Oxford St location and proximity to Marble Arch and Bond Street tube stations.

Jurlique trades in 26 markets worldwide and is currently sold across the UK in Space NK and Debenhams.

It is regarded as one of the premium skin care brands in Australia, with a reputation as a leader in natural skin care for more than 30 years and the way it grows and extracts its own ingredients from a farm in the state of South Australia.

The brand will join Zara, Swarovski, Folli Follie, Links of London, Urban Outfitters, Bershka and River Island in the Park House retail complex, which is managed by Real Estate Management Ltd (REM).

Jurlique Europe general manager Amanda Riches said the Park House shop was “ideal” for the brand‘s first standalone store.

“Park House offered us the right combination of modern, high specification space in a prominent central London location,” she said.

“The store will showcase the brand‘s new vision and architecture, which successfully captures the beauty and serenity of the Jurlique Farm, and conveys this in a retail setting.”

REM chief executive Michael Baker estimates that 200 million people would walk past Park House each year.
