Department store retailer Fenwick has named Peter King as its new group finance director.
King, who qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG, is the former managing director of The Fragrance Shop.
He worked his way up to that role in 2014 after starting with the company in 2009 as group finance director.
Fenwick is preparing to open 11th store in Colchester on September 15, after a £35 million, two-and-a-half year redevelopment of the premises previously known as Williams & Griffin that will expand its footprint by 50 per cent to 120,000 sq ft and become the largest department store in the region.
Fenwick is a family-owned, independent retail chain.
