New Look hires former Burberry head of user experience

Burberry’s former head of user experience Paul Rasmussen has been welcomed by high street fashion giant New Look.

Rasmussen will replace Jack Smith, who left New Look at the end of last year after two and a half years at the retailer.

Smith’s role included overseeing the digital channels for every market and his successes include launching on Alibaba‘s retail market place Tmall and launching the company‘s online offering in France and Germany.

Having worked in similar roles for numerous digital agencies since leaving Burberry last year, Rasmussen has been drafted in to continue New Look‘s online growth, which also seen the departure of its ecommerce director Sally Heath-Minto last in late 2016.  

Rasmussen’s appointment comes shortly after New Look appointed a new chief financial officer Richard Collyer in December.
