Footwear retailer Dr Martens has announced plans to open five new stores across the UK in the next few months.
Although the new store‘s locations have not yet been revealed, the announcement follows the opening of a new 847sq ft Reading store last week.
The retailer also opened its new flagship store in London‘s Camden in April.
The new store, which will mark Dr Martens’ 31st in the UK, will feature the work of local artists as well as holding gigs from live bands around the area.
“Our stores really resonate with customers as they encapsulate the Dr Martens brand ethos, as well as the local community,” UK retail marketing manager Emily Hall said.
“We have a strong brand identity and our customers like to feel part of that.”
