Former Premier Foods CFO Mark Moran joins Conviviality

The parent company of The Wine Rack and Bargain Booze has hired former Premier Foods chief financial officer Mark Moran.

He has been brought in as successor to Andrew Humphreys, who held chief financial officer role at Conviviality for three years.

Humphreys is set to leave the board on October 30 but will remain temporarily during a handover period.

Moran brings 20 years of experience in financial leadership, having acted as finance chief at Porvair Plc, SSL International Plc and Premier Foods.

He also acted as finance chief for Priory Healthcare group before it was acquired by Arcadia Healthcare last year.

“We are hugely grateful for Andrew’s contribution to Conviviality, having played a key role in the Company’s significant growth, including his pivotal roles in the Matthew Clark and Bibendum PLB acquisitions,” Conviviality chief executive Diana Hunter said.

“He leaves with the best wishes of the Board for his future career.  We are delighted to welcome Mark to the company and look forward to him supporting and contributing to the company’s further development as the UK’s leading independent wholesaler and distributor of alcohol and impulse.”
