YNAP’s Mr Porter to launch own brand footwear for the first time

Yoox Net-a-Porter group has announced its own label brand Mr P. will make its first foray into footwear and accessories next month.

The Mr P. range, which is exclusively available on via the Mr Porter website, will eight formal and casual shoe styles and will be available all year round.

A further seven-piece shoe range will follow its initial foray into the footwear sector, offering seasonal winter pieces such as fur lined walking boots.

To accompany this, it will also release its first range of accessories, which will include three pairs of cotton socks, nine pairs of heavier socks for the winter months and five scarfs.

“This September drop is Mr P.’s fifth collection and I am proud of how the brand has grown during this time,” Mr Porter’s style director Olie Arnold said.

“Introducing footwear is a significant moment for us and I am delighted to share the results: beautifully crafted shoes with the signature Mr P. aesthetic – meaning each pair fits perfectly with the mainline apparel.”
