// Michelle Evatt will join later this year

Oasis and Warehouse Group have appointed Michelle Evatt as their new design director.

Evatt joins the company from Ted Baker where she served as associate director, and worked as its senior designer since 2005.

She is due to start in her new role later this year.

The new appointment is part of Oasis’ company restructure which includes a review of the retailer’s design, buying and merchandising leadership teams.

Oasis announced earlier this year that Huong Su had joined the company in January as merchandise director, and Delia Phillips is due to join as buying director in summer.

“We are absolutely delighted that Michelle will be joining Oasis, she is an amazing talented designer and leader with a great track record,” Oasis managing director Sarah Welsh said.

“Together with Huong and Delia we believe we have assembled a formidable team, and I very much look forward to working with them all.”
