Tesco has plans to offer Clubcard holders up to 50 per cent discounts on selected items from next week to celebrate its 100th anniversary.
The “great discounts” will be available to Clubcard holders only, and will take place from May 7 to May 26, according to a document seen by MoneySavingExpert.com.
Tesco sent an email to Clubcard holders overnight, and said the discounts would be available to customers both “in-store or online”.
It remains uncertain as to which Tesco stores the promotions will be held, but the email informed online shoppers that they would receive a discount automatically when checking out.
According to the document, the discounted products range “from coffee to cat food, as well as F&F clothing and barbecue tools in larger stores”.
There will also be no limit to the number of discounted items that Clubcard members will be able to purchase, but the promotion is likely to be a “one-off”.
