// Topshop has introduced a vegan-friendly shoe range
// Retailers have been facing demand from consumers for more ethical products
// The shoe range is a 12-piece offer for the summer season

Topshop has unveiled its first ever vegan shoe collection, as the demand for more ethical clothing and accessorises ranges grows.

The 100 per cent vegan-friendly shoe range is a 12-piece offer for the summer season, comprising six separate sandal styles, each available in two different colours.

The main materials used for the shoes are non-animal, as well as non-fish glue having been used in their construction, and has received the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) approval.

The packaging will also be 100 per cent vegan-friendly materials.

The collection has been made alongside the Topshop’s premium shoe line in Spain, with prices ranging from £42 to £59.

The initiative could be one of the first as more and more retailers are facing demand from consumers for vegan-friendly collections.
