Calvin Klein owner hires former Ralph Lauren CEO as president

// PVH Corp hires Stefan Larsson as president

The parent company of Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, PVH Corp has appointed the former chief executive of Ralph Lauren as company president, effective June 3.

Stefan Larsson will join the newly-created role of president, and will report to PVH chairman and chief executive Emanuel Chirico.

He will be responsible for managing PVH’s branded businesses and regions, with each of the three brand chief executives and regional presidents reporting to him.

“I am confident that Stefan is uniquely qualified to help fuel our global growth by successfully leading our brands and regions to execute against our strategic priorities, and deliver consistent top and bottom line growth and returns to our stockholders,” Chirico said.

Larrson served as US luxury brand Ralph Lauren’s chief executive where he refocused the company on what made it iconic, improved its performance and set the path for future growth, before serving as the global president of Old Navy – a division of Gap – and helped Old Navy deliver 12 consecutive quarters of profitable growth.
