John Lewis Partnership has entered a partnership with Emma Mattress, making it the UK’s first retailer to stock the Emma Original Mattress – allowing customers to try before they buy in-store and/or online.

The partnership follows Emma Mattress’ recent financial results, which saw the bed-in-a-box retailer generate its highest UK revenue on record at £18 million in the year ended June 30 2019.

Emma Mattress expects to see its physical presence increase across the UK, as it continues to expand its reach across the UK since its 2017 launch. Products will be available in 15 John Lewis stores and online.

“We are delighted to welcome Emma into our shops, and look forward to giving our customers the chance to experience Emma products first-hand,” John Lewis Partnership partner & beds and bedroom furniture buyer, Emily Wimborne said.

Emma Mattress chief commercial officer, Philipp Burgtorf said: “There is an inherent desire to try before you buy – which is why we are pleased to announce John Lewis & Partners as our latest retail partner.

“Working together with one of the most trusted brands in the UK means that potential customers will be able to see and feel the UK’s most awarded mattress in-store, for the first time- as well as the benefit of having 100 nights to try it out.”
