// Karen Millen & Coast 32 UK stores shut down
// The retailers’ 117 UK concessions closed yesterday

All Karen Millen and Coast stores and concessions have shut down.

Administrators from Deloitte confirmed that Karen Millen and Coast’s total of 32 stores in the UK shut down on September 29, Drapers reported.

The retailers’ 117 UK concessions closed for the final time yesterday, the administrators at Deloitte confirmed.

Meanwhile, fast fashion retailer Boohoo, which acquired Karen Millen and Coast’s online business and IP rights as part of an £18.2 million pre-pack administration deal in early August, has said it will relaunch Karen Millen and Coast as online-only retailers from October 1.

The pre-pack deal resulted in 62 immediate job cuts, while all other staff members in Karen Millen and Coast’s 1100-strong workforce were put at risk of redundancies.

From what I’ve seen on both online stores the standard has definitely dropped. Very disappointed.
