Whistles has seen a 10 per cent rise in its online sales since the addition of a “ship from store” technology.

It means stock that was sat on shelves can now be made available for online shoppers.

The items are still available for delivery, but as the tech has also boosted the company’s click & collect, it has resulted in increased footfall to stores.

The tech allows the retailer to optimise its omnichannel order management system with initiatives to increase orders.

Following a successful two-week trial, the technology was rolled out across Whistles’ entire store estate and 15 per cent of its online orders are now fulfilled by ship from store.

Whistles is also working with OneStock “to explore ways of using data to further enhance the customer experience in-store”.
