Waitrose to host free cooking session for Healthy Eating Week

// Waitrose Cookery School to host free cooking session on how to prepare healthy meals
// Healthy Eating Week takes place from the 14th to 18th of June

To celebrate Healthy Eating Week, the Waitrose Cookery School has teamed up with the UK nutrition charity the British Nutrition Foundation to host a free special cooking session.

The event will be hosted by Waitrose health manager Dr Emma Williams alongside Waitrose Cookery School chef tutor Emily Merricks and British Nutrition Foundation nutrition scientist Alex White.

The hour long session will aim to help attendees understand what makes a healthy meal and will include a  cook-along where they are shown how to make two different dishes.

Dr Emma Williams said: “We are excited to be supporting Healthy Eating Week with this fantastic, free, cookery class.

“Our aim is to bring some healthy cooking inspiration to our guests and offer some advice and tips on how to make healthy swaps so that everyone can live that little bit healthier.”

The free Waitrose Cookery School Healthy Eating Week course will run on 17 June from 5pm to 6pm.
