Boohoo stake snapped up by central bank of Norway

Boohoo has seen the central bank of Norway, Norges Bank acquire a stake worth 3.1 per cent in the fast fashion giant.

Norges Bank is now the fifth largest institutional investor in Boohoo following the acquisition.

The investment was confirmed in documents filed with the London Stock Exchange.

Norges Bank’s new holding in the company makes it one of the largest single shareholders in Boohoo, ahead of the likes of Franklin Templeton Institutional and Artisan Partners.

Boohoo co-founder Mahmud Kamani remains the largest single shareholder with T. Rowe Price International in second.
