Joules commercial and wholesale director Penny Parry is to exit the fashion retailer.

Parry has spent 13 years at Joules, starting as a senior merchandiser before working her way up to lead wholesale and then commercial and wholesale.

She has held her current role since 2018.

Parry worked in merchandising roles at Next and Bonmarché earlier in her career.

She will continue in her role until 8 April, according to Drapers.

Joules has been battling supply chain issues and extra costs in recent times. Despite rising sales over Christmas, the retailer warned that extra costs would hit profits.

Profits had been due to hit between £10 million and £12 million, but Joules now forecasts they will now come in at around £5 million.
