Footwear specialist Skechers will open a 5,000 sq ft store, catered for men, women and children. This includes its latest athletic, casual and fashion trainers, along with sandals and boots as well as it fashion ranges.

Moss Bros chief executive Brian Brick said: “Moss Bros has shown remarkable resilience over the pandemic and we are keenly focused on reinvesting in the high street and opening new stores within key regions around the UK.

“We’ve always had a desire to open in Woking, as the town centre serves a broad and wealthy catchment and is well placed to become a major destination due to the significant investment from Moyallen Group and Woking Borough Council. We are very pleased to be joining the Woking community and look forward to a bright future at Victoria Place.”

Councillor Ayesha Azad, leader of Woking Borough Council, added: “As we approach the official opening of phase one of Victoria Place, Woking is fast becoming a destination of choice for well-established brands.

“We’ve very proud these brands have chosen to open in Woking. They will enhance our existing retail and F&B offering, adding more variety for local residents and visitors alike, helping us continue delivering a unique experience for visitors.”
