Gap removes Kanye West’s Yeezy products following antisemitic rant

Gap has removed Yeezy products created in partnership with Kanye West following the rapper’s antisemitic comments.

The US retailer has also shut down YeezyGap.com, which now redirects to the Gap website.

The initiative comes after Adidas ended its partnership with West after offensive and antisemitic comments.

After ending its partnership with West’s Yeezy label last month, Gap is now pulling all remaining Yeezy Gap products from its stores and online.

“Antisemitism, racism and hate in any form are inexcusable and not tolerated in accordance with our values,” Gap said.

Luxury retailer Balenciaga has also cut ties with West following his offensive remarks.

“Balenciaga has no longer any relationship nor any plans for future projects related to this artist,” parent company Kering said.

    Yet another expensive mistake from Gap. That’s what happens when you try create partnerships with mentally unstable people to get some extra sales.
