K3’s latest research project, which surveyed 403 fashion and retail decision makers, quizzed respondents on their familiarity with key trends and technologies that will shape the future of the industry.

What K3 crucially found was that many fashion and retail decision makers are misinformed about these trends and technologies.

And, in some cases, there was even a fundamental disconnect between businesses and their consumers.

For instance, 35% believe there is low consumer interest in the circular economy despite younger generations being very hungry for sustainable practices.
