Flannels has opened a new store at Blanchardstown Centre, Dublin’s largest retail and leisure destination – marking its first opening in Ireland.

The luxury retailer offers designer clothing, accessories and footwear for men, women and children from labels including Burberry, Creed, Versace, Stone Island, and Tom Ford.

Flannels has occupied the former Debenhams store on the ground floor of the centre, spanning over 30,000sq ft.

The new store aims to “diversify” the fashion line-up Blanchardstown – broadening the appeal of the centre – which covers over 1.1 million sq ft.

“Flannels Blanchardstown marks an exciting moment for the business, as we continue to expand our presence and store proposition across the UK and Europe,” Frasers Group managing director of Luxury & Premium, David Epstein said.

“We have ambitious plans, and with each new store opening, we bring modern and engaging retail destinations to new consumers – cementing Flannels as the go-to destination for new luxury.”

The opening comes after Inditex-owned retailer Zara opened its largest store in Ireland at Blanchardstown centre earlier this month.

Blanchardstown Centre has benefitted from an extension and extensive refurbishment process over the last two years, with further spend planned.

The centre’s catchment totals 1.9 million, with 39% of shoppers in the three most affluent Acorn categories.

Flannels now has over 60 shops in the UK and Ireland.

It’s actually not the first store in Ireland, Belfast opened 3 years ago. It’s the first store in the Republic of Ireland!
