Tesco reveals Clubcard change ahead of Christmas

Tesco has made a change to its Clubcard scheme ahead of the Christmas period.

The grocer‘s Clubcard members will now receive personalised coupons every two weeks in the run up the Christmas Day, rather than every six weeks.

The digital coupons will be selected based on a customers’ shopping habits and will include bonus points and instant discounts to use in-store and online.

The digital coupons will be available to scan on the Tesco app.

The trial will benefit four million customers with the Grocery and Clubcard app, which launched in August 2021.

In comparison to the regular Clubcard app, this also includes a stock checker, a shopping list function and various payment options.

“Our customers love the way their Clubcard helps them save money on their shopping whilst earning Clubcard points to put towards those little treats like days out and restaurant meals, or to help lower the cost of their groceries and fuel,” Tesco chief customer officer, Alessandra Bellini said.

“This exciting new revamp of our personalised Clubcard Coupons is the latest way we’re rewarding our customers and helping them unlock the power of their Clubcard.”
