Clarks has teamed up with the world’s biggest fashion retailer, Zara for a new collaboration which sees both its classic Wallabee and Dessert Boot reinvented.

Zara said one of the key elements of the new collection, which features men’s, women’s and kidswear options, has been “the interpretation of the iconic models by using chunky crepe soles to make it unique”.

Clarks has launched 15 new styles which are available to buy online at Zara.com and in stores located in 98 countries around the world.

The footwear retailer has been struggling in recent years thanks to the pandemic but reported “a steady recovery and increase in consumer demand” across all its markets back in November.

The partnership with fashion giant Inditex’s top-performing brand should boost profits at the business which saw operating profit hit £61.7 million for the year to 29 January 2022, up from a loss of £162.2 million in 2020/21.
