Holland & Barrett launches ‘Drinks with Benefits’ trial service

Holland & Barrett has launched a new “Drinks with Benefits” trial service in its Birmingham store.

The takeaway service offers a new range of teas and coffees, with each drink created to mirror the latest trending health and wellness ingredients, focusing on supporting gut health, mental focus, energy and immunity.

The business said highlights from its 16-strong range included its Give Me Sunshine Latte, Beauty Within Latte, and Digest Support Tea.

Alongside the Drinks with Benefits, customers can purchase classics including an Americano, Latte and English Breakfast.

Shoppers can also add extras to their beverages, including natural sweetener, Manuka honey, CBD and Lions Mane.

Each drink only contains natural ingredients, according to the retailer.

The company’s head of food and beverage development Rachel Chatterton said: “Our team of experts have scoured the globe this past year to create a new range of delicious tea and coffee with actual benefits that’s all backed by science and nutrition.

“With the healthier coffee market growing, we’re excited to bring this new offering to the market as an on the go drinks option for customers”.

The move follows Holland & Barrett launching its biggest food transformation in a decade in September, dubbed “food that loves you back”.
