M&S Romford’s TikTok stars top iTunes Chart with Christmas single

M&S’ Romford team have released a Christmas single for 2023, which has already hit number one on the iTunes charts.

Staff from nine of the retail giant‘s stores partnered with M&S’ ‘Team Romford’ to create the song ‘Maybe This Christmas Time’, which released 27 November.

The single reached the top spot within just two hours of its initial release and was the third and final bid from the team to top the Christmas charts.

Written by Team Romford star colleague Jack Brooker, the song will help raise funds for Young Minds, the UK’s leading mental health charity for young people.

The music video shows employees setting a table for Christmas, displaying an array of food including bao buns and a full roast dinner.

This comes as M&S relaunched its 12 Days of Sparks digital advent calendar with this year’s campaign containing a £10k gift card prize draw.

From next month, Sparks customers will be able to ‘open a door’ a day, revealing over a million free prizes.
