Co-op rolls out member prices to online shop

Co-op has rolled out member prices to its online shop as it aims to grown its membership.

The convenience retailer is now offering the same member price benefits online for its members as in store.

Member prices operate across more than 300 of the business’s key lines and everyday essentials, including branded and own-branded products, such as its Co-op spaghetti,  whole cucumber, and Co-op tomato ketchup.

The convenience store retailer claimed it had seen its highest growth in member-owners in eight years, and unveiled plans to hit 8m members by 2030 earlier this year.

Co-op ecommerce director Chris Conway said: “Co-op membership is a different way of doing business, we are focussed on creating value for our member-owners who are at the very heart of our business.

“Growing and innovating our online channels is a fundamental part of our approach, and we are committed to providing greater benefits to those who own our business, our member-owners, with savings across an extensive range and choice of everyday essentials and groceries ordered through our own online shop.”
