John Lewis has teamed up with Uber Eats to offer rapid delivery of nursery, beauty, and gifting products in Leeds and Stratford, with items arriving in as little as 30 minutes.

The pilot covers a curated selection of 150 products, including baby essentials, premium skincare, and last-minute gifts, available to customers within an 8km radius of the stores.

Prices match those found in John Lewis shops, online, and through the retailer’s app, maintaining the “Never Knowingly Undersold” promise.

John Lewis category lead Stella Winklewska said: “Our pilot with Uber Eats will make it easier than ever for customers to access the John Lewis products they love, delivered to their location within the hour.

“It’s an exciting strategic step to reach a new audience and ensures we’re there for our customers whenever they need us.”

Uber Eats head of retail for EMEA Alex Troughton, added: “Retail on Uber Eats is growing fast as customers look to get everything from baby essentials to beauty products delivered in minutes.

“By combining John Lewis’s range with our technology, we’re bringing the best of the British high street right to people’s doors.”

The pilot runs until early September, aiming to test demand and operational logistics before a potential wider rollout.
