Just Eat has launched its new membership service, Just Eat+, offering users unlimited free deliveries over the summer.
Shoppers can sign up with a one-off £5.99 payment of the service for 90 days, providing customers with unlimited free delivery all summer.
Customers who sign up for the membership can order products from over 90,000 restaurants, supermarkets and shops to be delivered for free, with goods ranging from deodorant to takeaways.
Additionally, members can access a range of exclusive deals under the service, including free items from the likes of Greggs and Co-op, special discounts from Leon, Island Poke and The Breakfast Club, and two-for-one offers from Patty&Bun and PizzaExpress.
Customers can sign up to Just Eat+ by adding the membership to their basket on qualifying orders at the platform’s checkout.
Just Eat UK&I managing director Claire Pointon said: “We’re thrilled to be launching Just Eat+ – which is designed to make everyday ordering that bit easier and more rewarding.
“Whether it’s a quick dinner for the family or a last-minute order for summer essentials, our new membership gives customers more flexibility, with greater value and access to exclusive perks, all with no delivery fees.”
She added: “With thousands of restaurants, supermarkets, and shops to choose from, Just Eat+ helps people get whatever they need, whenever they need it.”
The move comes after Just Eat rival Deliveroo recently teamed up with Boots and holiday expert Chelsea Dickenson to deliver forgotten essentials to UK hotspots this summer.
Shoppers can choose from over 750 products such as sunscreen, insect repellent and pain relief to be delivered in as little as 20 minutes to more than 75 UK beaches, walking spots, and festivals.
In June, Deliveroo also launched drone deliveries in Dublin as part of its “continuous mission” to improve the customer experience.
