Morrisons has launched its More Card prices for Deliveroo shoppers, following the roll out of its loyalty scheme on the delivery app earlier this year.

Members of the supermarket’s loyalty scheme can access exclusive savings on selected products across fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and dairy and other essential items.

It comes as Morrisons launched its More Card programme on Deliveroo in March, allowing shoppers to collect points when they order groceries via the platform.

The retailer’s partnership with the delivery app covers more than 400 of its supermarkets, 500 convenience stores, as well as a tie up with Deliveroo’s rapid delivery ‘Hop’ service.

Morrisons director of online Charlotte Exell said: “We introduced More Points to customers who order their Morrisons groceries from Deliveroo a few months ago and have had really positive feedback.

“We wanted to provide further benefits for our More Card customers so are delighted to be bringing More Card Prices to those customers so they can make the most of their More Card however they choose to shop with us.”

Deliveroo vice president of new verticals Suzy McClintock added: “We know our customers are turning to Deliveroo for groceries more and more often, as ordering on-demand becomes embedded into weekly shopping routines.

“Introducing member pricing for Morrisons More Card customers is part of our ongoing commitment to offer consumers the best value for on demand shops, enabling them to access exclusive discounts on a wide variety of high-quality products from Morrisons, delivered to their doorstep in as little as 20 minutes.”

In May, the retailer expanded its loyalty scheme with the rollout of “more partner points,” with members able to earn points with over 300 participating brands by shopping via the Morrisons More App or More website. Its partners include Ebay, Very, Just Eat, Expedia, Asos and more.
