Jewellery chain Pandora has opened a store at Manchester Airport, marking a major milestone for its presence in travel retail.

The shop, which has been designed with travellers in mind, features a 14-metre pink-tiled façade and two large-format digital screens, reflecting the brand’s newest visual identity and immersive retail design.

Based in Terminal 2, it houses the brand’s full range of jewellery collections, including Pandora lab-grown diamonds, engraving services, and its latest summer collection.

It will also sell a curated selection of national icon travel charms from destinations around the world.

Pandora sales director for the UK and Ireland Ross Monaghan said: “We’re incredibly proud to open our first ever standalone airport store and delighted to partner with Manchester, a city that holds huge importance for Pandora in the UK.

“This new location comes at the perfect moment in the airport’s development and marks an exciting new chapter in our retail journey.”

The store marks the first of three new airport openings in 2025, as part of Pandora’s growing investment in UK travel retail.

A second site is set to launch in Gatwick Airport’s south terminal in mid-August, followed by an opening in London Luton Airport in early September.

Pandora unveiled its fourth store on Oxford Street in March, as it set out to enhance its visibility on one of the world’s busiest shopping streets.

In February 2024, the company revealed plans for a “large expansion” of its store network over the next couple of years, as its sales continued to surge.
