Fashion brand Ted Baker is reportedly preparing to return to the UK high street, less than two years after shutting all its stores following its collapse.
According to The Sun, the firm is planning to open a new store in London in early 2026, although no further details have been confirmed.
It would mark Ted Baker’s first physical retail site in the UK since the administration of its store operator, No Ordinary Designer Label (NODL), in March 2024.
At its peak, the business ran 46 standalone stores in the UK, employing nearly 1,000 staff. The final store closures took place in August 2024, alongside exits from markets including North America and the Netherlands.
Since then, parent company Authentic Brands Group (ABG) has been rebuilding Ted Baker through a network of third-party partnerships.
In the UK and Europe, its wholesale business is now operated by Pace Partnership London, led by former Barbour MD Ryan Llewellyn-Pace.
Under a five-year deal, PPL is responsible for sales and marketing of the Ted Baker brand, while New Lobster, owned by PDS Group, continues to oversee design, development and production globally.
Llewellyn-Pace has brought in several former Barbour colleagues to support the relaunch, including senior figures across marketing, sales and business development.
He said earlier this year: “Together, we have a very talented and strong team to bring Ted Baker back and towards our vision of making it the leading British lifestyle brand in the market.”
