Aldi is opening an average of one new supermarket a week for the rest of the year as it ramps up its expansion programme.
The discount supermarket has confirmed the locations of its next tranche of stores, which include Fulham Broadway and Shoreditch in London.
Residents in Eastbourne in East Sussex, Waterbrook in Kent, Meadowfield in Durham, Deeside and Treharris in Wales, Market Harborough in Leicestershire will see new Aldi stores open nearby over the coming months.
The retailer is also unveiling new locations in Tyne and Wear, Liverpool and Chesterfield.
The openings form part of Aldi’s £650m investment into its store estate this year, which will also see 35 of its supermarkets undergo refurbishments before the end of the year.
Aldi UK managing director of national real estate Jonathan Neale said: “At Aldi, our goal is to make sure people across the UK have access to affordable, high-quality food, and opening new stores is key to making that happen.
“We’re now opening an average of one new store a week for the rest of 2025, showing just how ambitious our plans are to build a store network that will help us reach millions of new customers.
“But it’s not just about openings – it’s also about making sure we have the best-paid teams in place to run them.”
