M&S has named ex-Asos managing director Jag Weatherley as its new transformation director for fashion, home and beauty.

She is set to join the food and fashion specialist in January.

The exec has held various senior leadership positions at Asos, which she joined in 2012 as its head of merchandising. She most recently served as the brand’s managing director for Europe and rest of world.

She also worked for Topshop Topman from 2002 to 2012 as a senior merchandiser.

M&S managing director of fashion, home and beauty John Lyttle said: “Jag’s appointment marks an important next step in completing our fashion, home & beauty leadership team and upping the pace of our transformation.

“Jag brings a brilliant set of expertise as we continue to build momentum and reshape M&S for growth.”

Last week, M&S appointed Jon Rolls as its new commercial & operations director for fashion, home and beauty.

Rolls joined from Primark, where he was group director of planning and space and sat on the executive team.

Earlier this month, it was also reported that M&S chief digital and technology officer Rachel Higham was stepping down from her role.
