Pandora boss Alexander Lacik is set to retire next year, and will be replaced by the brand’s chief marketing officer.
The jewellery giant revealed that Lacik will step down as CEO in March 2026 after seven years.
Chief marketing officer Berta de Pablos-Barbier is set to take over his position.
De Pablos-Barbier was appointed in November 2024 as a potential future leader of the company. The exec was the strongest candidate for the CEO role, the retailer said in a statement.
Prior to joining the business, she served as president and CEO of champagne company Moet & Chandon.
Additionally, De Pablos-Barbier has held roles at Mars Wrigley, Lacoste and Boucheron.
Pandora chair Peter Ruzicka said: “She is the right person to lead our continued growth, and I am pleased that we can maintain strategic focus and momentum during this smooth and orderly leadership transition.
In a statement, Pablos-Barbier said: “Even though we are the largest in our industry, Pandora still holds significant untapped potential.”
Pandora joins Holland & Barrett in appointing a new CEO, with the health and wellness brand promoting its UK and Ireland boss Anthony Houghton as its new group CEO last month.
Earlier this week, food to go chain Pret also named Matthew Bresnahan as its new chief marketing officer.
