Uniqlo UK is pushing ahead with its regional store expansion, as it confirms the date of its Birmingham Bullring shop opening.

The fashion chain revealed that its Birmingham Bullring site would open on 16 October.

The Birmingham store will feature a full range of women’s, men’s, kids and baby across 3 floors. The shop will also house Uniqlo’s UTme! customisable T-shirt station, allowing customers to add their own style to their items.

Uniqlo is collaborating with local partners for the launch, to make the opening a celebration of the Birmingham community.

Activity will begin with health and wellness community Girls On The Go Birmingham hosting Uniqlo henna workshops over the next month.

Additionally, Uniqlo will be offering a free goody bag to its first 100 customers who spend over £60 on the Birmingham Bullring opening day and its opening Saturday 18 October.

The brand also announced plans for stores at Bristol’s Cabot Circus and Leeds next year, following its store launch in Liverpool earlier this year.

The Bristol launch will mark another milestone for the brand’s expansion, as it brings its LifeWear to the Southwest of England for the first time.

The Leeds store, which will be based on the shopping street of Briggate, will feature a sales floor of approximately 1100sqm across 2 floors.

Uniqlo UK COO Alessandro Dudech said: “Uniqlo remains committed to strengthening its presence within the UK retail sector by expanding both our physical store network and ecommerce capabilities nationwide.

“As part of this strategic initiative, we look forward to introducing Uniqlo to the communities and visitors in the North of England, at the new Leeds location and simultaneously reaching customers in the South West in Bristol’s Cabot Circus.”
