Urban Outfitters is launching its second shop in Ireland this week, as it pushes ahead with its European expansion.
The store, which opens in Cork on 18 September, will be based at 101 St Patrick’s Street. It spans more than 5,000 sq ft across two trading floors.
The fashion brand is holding a special customer event on 17 September at 5pm to mark the store opening.
The event is set to feature a live performance from DJ Tara Kumar as well as live customisation for tailoring and letter embroidery.
Additionally, it will house a pop-up marketplace as well as exclusive drinks by Beamish.
Shoppers will have exclusive access to the retailer’s viral Jogger, The Harri, in a unique colour to Ireland.
Urban Outfitters EU president Emma Wisden said: “We have delivered strong growth across Europe over the past couple of years, and we are excited to be in a position to keep expanding despite current economic challenges.
“We have always prioritised creating an exceptional in-store experience alongside our stand out proprietary brands, curated vintage product, global brands and unique home and lifestyle products.
“We are excited to be able to bring this to new customers in new regions like Cork.”
