Clarks is launching its first Cloudsteppers concept stores as it moves into clothing and apparel.
The shoe retailer is opening three of the shops across the US and Southeast Asia, featuring apparel and accessories for the first time, Retail Week reported.
The brand launches its first Cloudsteppers lifestyle shop in Malaysia today (5 November), before opening its second Malaysian site on 7 November.
Additionally, it will open its first US Cloudsteppers shop, in Texas, in December.
Following its initial three openings, the brand is gearing up to open at least 10 more of the concept stores throughout the US and Asia in 2026, as it boosts its international expansion plans.
Cloudsteppers is the retailer’s range of lightweight shoes, flip-flops and sandals, which currently forms America’s biggest brand in women’s flip-flops.
In a company first, the new shops will sell new apparel and accessories offerings alongside footwear.
Its non-footwear ranges are set to be launched for Clarks UK shoppers next year, Retail Week understands.
Clarks’ non-footwear offer is set to include hoodies, t-shirts, socks, caps and bags under its Cloudsteppers branding.
However, the retailer is seeking to widen its range during the new year, with plans for leggings and windbreaker jackets.
Clarks is also set to widen the Cloudsteppers brand into accessories and menswear, with men’s footwear due to roll out in January 2026.
Clarks Americas vice president of retail Peter Quirke said: “We’ve engineered cushioning and ultra-lightweight innovation for decades – and we’re proud to make that comfort even more accessible through new retail environments and expanded lifestyle ranges.
“Launching Cloudsteppers as a standalone experience is a milestone we’re incredibly excited about, and there’s so much more to come in 2026.”
