Nobody’s Child has been granted B Corp status following a review of the company.

The womenswear brand received an overall score of 100.6 in its qualifying B Impact assessment, putting it above the B Corp pass mark of 80 as well as the fashion sector average of 80.9.

Posting on Instagram, the business said: “As we celebrate 10 years of Nobody’s Child, we’re proud to announce that we’ve become B Corp Certified.

“This means we’re now part of a global community of businesses that meet high verified standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.

“This certification is more than a badge of honour – it’s a promise to a future of continual improvement.”

The company added: “From responsibly sourced fabrics and circularity principles to people-first policies, fair working practices and supply chain transparency, every decision we make at Nobody’s Child reflects a commitment to do better for people and the planet.

“Now, with B Corp, that commitment has been independently recognised.”

Earlier this year, fashion brand FatFace boosted its B Corp score by eight points as part of its sustainability push.

The retailer said that it grew its B Corp score from 80.4 to 89.1, following a successful recertification process.
