Pandora chief marketing officer (CMO) Berta de Pablos-Barbier is set to become the brand’s new CEO on 1 January 2026, with the leadership transition occurring earlier than scheduled.

The transition was previously due to be completed at Pandora’s annual general meeting in March.

However, it will now be finalised earlier than scheduled following handover from the jewellery company’s current CEO Alexander Lacik, as well as the appointment of Jennie Farmer as its new CMO.

Pandora chair Peter Ruzicka said: “The handover from Alexander to Berta has been exceptionally smooth.

“With Jennie Farmer stepping in as CMO, we are pleased to be able to conduct the leadership transition faster than planned.

De Pablos-Barbier added: “I am honoured to lead Pandora into its next chapter.

“Over the past years, we have established a strong brand with a unique position in the market for accessible jewellery.

“My immediate focus will be to navigate the current market turbulence while gearing up to leverage our untapped opportunities as a full jewellery brand and drive long-term growth. We are building a bigger Pandora.”
