Sportswear retailer New Balance has named Ger Wright as its new VP sales for the EMEA region.
Wright served as Frasers Group managing director for sport from June 2022 to September 2025.
Prior to this, she spent more than 14 years at athleticwear giant Nike, most recently working as its vice president general manager merchandising marketplace EMEA.
Wright also served as Levi Strauss & Co. accounts manager Ireland (sales) from January 2005 to May 2006. Additionally, she worked as retail coordinator manager Ireland for Levi’s Footwear and Accessories from July 2002 to December 2004.
Sharing the news on LinkedIn, Wright said: “It’s a new year, and I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve just started a new chapter in my career as vice president sales EMEA at New Balance.
“Having worked with New Balance in recent years, and run the London Marathon with them last year, I truly fell in love with the brand’s culture, product and team.”
She added: “I’m energised to be back in a brand leadership role, working alongside the team to capitalise on the momentum New Balance is creating and to take our EMEA business to new heights, realising New Balance’s amazing ambitions.”
