Jollyes Pets has made two senior appointments to its leadership team.

Sean McGinty has been named as the pet retailer’s new chief marketing officer, taking direct responsibility for customer, marketing and Jollyes’ digital and loyalty proposition.

He joined the business in October after three years serving as marketing director for furniture chain Dunelm. Prior to this, he spent four years as marketing director of Aldi UK.

The exec has also held senior marketing roles at Debenhams and Asda.

Additionally, David Stokes is set to join Jollyes as its new retail and supply chain director in May, taking direct responsibility for functions led by Adam Dury, who was promoted as CEO designate in October 2025.

Stokes will join the company after six years at third-party logistics provider Gregory Group.

He previously spent 16 years at Lidl in several key positions across retail, supply chain and logistics in the UK and Europe.

Dury said: “It’s no secret that Jollyes is growing at a significant pace as we open new stores right across the UK.

“Those growth ambitions will be fuelled by talented retailers and that’s why I’m delighted to welcome Sean and David to our leadership team as we bring our unique combination of low prices and pet expertise to more customers.

“David’s hands-on retail leadership and supply chain expertise and Sean’s retail marketing experience will be real assets to the business as we continue to shake up the UK pet retail market.”

The appointments come as Jollyes has almost doubled its number of stores over the past three years.

The business is opening another three new locations this month, with store launches in Ponders End, Hartlepool and Whitehaven.
